Preflight Within 24 hours, Garlock Graphics will examine your files to flag anything that might not reproduce well on press. If there are concerns, we will work with you to find a viable solution, often finding ways to optimize your design and save you money.
Proofs
Digital Proofs: Within 5 days of receiving your art (and addressing any potential issues), we will send you a fully separated PDF. Once approved for content and layout, we will produce and deliver a hard-copy color proof, or digital proof.
Contract Proof: If your art requires it, you will receive a color accurate GMG Color® proof for your approval. This proof accurately builds and predicts process color on press. With a Contract Proof, we are providing a guarantee that means, "We will match this on press." Garlock goes to great lengths to make sure these color proofs are an accurate representation of what your final product will look like.
Plates Once we have your approval on art and color, we will proceed to produce printing plates. Garlock prints with state-of-the-art Kodak NX flexographic printing plates. These higher-end Kodak plates offer the following advantages:
Precise one-to-one image production
Expanded achievable color gamut
Dramatic increase in color density
Outstanding minimum dot performance (imaging smaller and consistent dots means better color consistency from run to run)
Ensured consistency, repeatability, and press efficiency due to Kodak's flat-top technology
When your job is complete, we will store your Digital Assets for as long as you need. If you require changes in the future, we will work with you to determine the most efficient way to implement those changes.
